Challenge

Consumer insight studies found that when interviewing a pool of 1,000 Australians in October 2024, only 12% of consumers knew our client. Their business objective was to hit 18%.

Solution

Rolling off a recent competitor analysis exercise we undertook with the client, we identified their key value proposition. Once the messaging was confirmed, we captured all creative for the campaign, including filming and photographing talent, designing artwork and writing blogs. The campaign launched in Summer, targeting Australians about to go on their Christmas break. We utilised a mixture of mediums such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and influencers.

Result

The campaign was a success! Consumer insights studies in February 2025 found that 23% of Australians know our client. The brand awareness campaign achieved the following: 1. 4.5M views across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane 2. 176% increase in website traffic over the campaign period

Challenge

With increasing costs in paid search, our client's challenge was to improve organic search traffic at a lower cost. Our KPI was to deliver traffic to the client lower than their average CPC of $1.50 on Google Ads.

Solution

We introduce a thorough local SEO campaign, targeting all product searches in and around Melbourne and their three showrooms over 2024. This included improving their website experience and performance, on-page optimisation and off-page optimisation.

Result

Over the 2024 period, we saw the following results: 1. 50+ keywords ranking on page one of Google 2. 151,000+ organic traffic driven to our client's website 3. Cost per click working out to $0.39. This was a significant achievement compared to our average CPC on Google Ads of $1.50. The client achieved 3.8x more traffic with the same spend from consumers who are more engaged and interested in their offering.

Challenge

The client's objective was to improve paid media conversions and reduce cost per click across Google Ads and Meta Ads in the university and accommodation sectors.

Solution

With an always-on approach, our team delivered top, middle and bottom-of-funnel campaigns across Google and Meta networks targeting consumers seeking university accommodation on and off res.

Red Herring have been a fantastic company to work with. Not only did they go above and beyond, Alex also helped us out when issues arised within our business. Their professionalism went beyond our expectation and we couldn't fault them. Will HAPPILY provide RHD's number to other businesses. It seems recent reviews are negatively targeting RHD based on things that didn't go their way. Disregard anything you read from other companies stating Alex and RHD were unprofessional, I believe in this instance we can see that others are the unprofessional businesses that decide to spit the dummy and BULLY small businesses when something doesn't go their way. Making fake accounts to continue to write negative reviews and bully business isn't the way to go!
